Flower Garden block 9

My bunch of flowers is growing. Here is the ninth block. The picture is a bit overlighted, sorry for that! The lines you see are for blocking the block before I put the blocks together.

Just wanted to let you all know that I really am working on the Roseville Album, here are a couple of pics. This is the bowl for my center block. It is all one piece of fabric that I got from http://www.equilter.com/ and I just wanted something different. The second shot is the fabrics I've pulled/purchased/won for this project. Most are Kaffe Fassett but there are some hand dyes and some batiks in there as well.

Fussy Cutting

Hi All
Help Needed!
I am about to start my first block on The Flower Garden Quilt. I intend back basting, which I've never done before, but it looks good. My question is how does one fussy cut the fabric when back basting.
Looking forward to some help from all the seasoned appliquers!! (spelling?)
cheers
Sue

" Pandemonium Quilt" - full view

Here is the full viwe of the quilt. Now you can see why it is called " Pandemonium" It is named by one of the ladies at Glorious Color!
I enjoyed making this quilt from the drawing to the assembly. If you have the EQ software, you can change the pieced blocks, the finished sizes of the blocks are indicated in the lay out sheet. The whole quilt was done by hand as I'm really bad with sewing on the machine. Liza has done template free instruction for the easier blocks such as the pinwheel and half triangle squares, for the more difficult blocks, sewing instructions are done for handpiecing method, however I'm sure some of you will do it by machine very well.
Please let me know if you need me to clarify anything, Cheers, Kim McL

Roseville album

Today I have finshed another panel of my Roseville album quilt. I never thought  that I had so much patience, but you learn as long as you live!!!

Another lollipop finished.....

With my increasingly vast collection of fabrics, it's fun picking out which one to use!  Can never have enough of a selection of fabric stash, right!?

" Pandemonium Quilt" - the house

This is the last panel, bottom right corner, 34" x 24". To the left is the pot panel flanked by 2 vertical rows of circle-in diamond blocks. The house panel was rather fun to do, with various animals in the yard.
The quilt on the whole was easier than the Roseville Album to sew. Time spent was on the drawings for me, but I loved the process. I think this is a great quilt to do, since most of us have fabrics that we can use in the stash cupboards already. I did enjoy the chance to use the shot cottons though, they were sooo pretty! Will do the full quilt soon, Kim McLean
