I am SLOWLY...Thanks for your encouraging comments! I am SLOWLY stitching them by hand, after preparing the pieces in different ways all starting with freezer paper, usually by gluing the edges under, sometimes by basting, but I prefer to glue as afterward I can peel the freezer paper off, and see the fabric (and change it if need be) before stitching it down. As far as backgrounds, this is the Kaffe Spot in Sky. I personally struggle with background decisions--it seems like such a monumental choice to make that a person is "stuck" with. I chose mine by trying some fabrics I liked on different potential backgrounds, but sometimes I think this background is a bit too busy for me and that next I will choose a softer or quieter one, maybe more color and less white, or all white--just can't decide! This Sky reads darker than the Kaffe spot in Mint or Magnolia, which might have been better choices for me. Guess I'm not much help with backgrounds! And Whoops--last night I realized I left off one circle (on the center stem)--guess it's not finished afterall!Donna~~https://www.blogger.com/profile/08983652387362967468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5438520712984321582.post-79869117978790734742010-11-18T06:17:53.094-05:002010-11-18T06:17:53.094-05:00Just wonderful, Donna.
