More Stars and Sprigs

Woo hoo!! These are the last three applique blocks for the Stars and Sprigs, they really don't take long to make and I've enjoyed the small blocks that can be done in an evening. These last ones are darkish and more moody in colour but it's what I though looked right.
I'm getting pretty excited about nearing the end of the center part of the quilt so just some more star blocks and I can assemble the last three rows. After that will be another border and then another and then the last one. I feel the end is closer with every stitch.
Who else is going to be making this one when the pattern comes out next month?

  1. Swoon!!! I love these darker moody colors, Janet. Especially that middle appliqued block. Oh my...you are GETTING there with each stitch. You are such an inspiration. : )

  4. I've said it before and I'll say it again..you are amazing Janet! I'm loving seeing you bring this one together, and yes, I'm planning on buying this one too, but I'm hoping not to start it until I've finished the Roseville. Considering I haven't finished one block yet it might be a while away!

  9. Oh, Janet, you little rascal, you. Your colors, fabrics, and workmanship, are always so wonderful. You are an inspiration to me, and I suspect, to us all, and you make it look soooo easy. I suspect I will end up with all of Kim's patterns, but I plan to slay just one dragon at a time, thank you very much. As I just began block two, I think I'll be a while starting another. Also, I still don't have ALL of the "boys" fabrics, and that's my new goal. YIKES! Michele
