Stars and Sprigs border #2

The quilt top is now too big to fit on the design wall so I clipped on some curtain rings for a photo. There's no doubting it, seeing two borders on is a joyful sight for me. I will admit to sewing on that bottom border  upside down which required a little fix me up with the seam ripper.
A few photos just in case you wanted to see the fabrics better.

  30. Just heavenly! I have "watched" you stitch this since you first saw it and got permission from Kim to copy it and I am so thrilled for you to be almost done... I am an applique wanna-be but I am also a "lazy" quilter so I don't have the patience to set it all up. Someday when the kids are all grown and off I might grow the patience but for now I live through you and the other ladies on Glorious Applique!!

  41. I am in awe, just like everyone else. Would you please take a minute to tell us 1) What size the blocks are? and 2) How did it happen that you have made this even before the pattern is released? You are obviously just the right quiltmaker to get the rest of us psyched up--how did that happen?
