Finally some progress
Hi,
It has been a (very long) while since I could post something because I had 2 deadlines. I still have 1 but today i decided to finally give myself some time of to play with lollipops.
So, what you see on the left is what i started with this morning. The photo on the right is what it looks like now, after a few hours of glorious stitching, smile on my face, so happy at playing hooky.
Now grown-up me is taking over again and again 'the aliens' (as my son calls it) will have to wait. But not that long this time.
Try having fun,
Françoise
That is really beautiful. I love the colors very much.
ReplyDeleteLove,
-Samya :-)
You've been busy and it looks lovely. I like the swirls in the maroon dots, they are very playful.
ReplyDeleteThe pics just don't go where we want them to, do they? ;)
ReplyDeleteYour block is coming along nicely. I like the mix of light and dark fabrics.
I hope you can get back to your stitching again soon. :)
What beautiful strong colors. It will be fun to watch this one come together.
ReplyDeleteFabulous and Fun block, Francoise!!! I adore your fabric choices. : ) Thanks for sharing, and I'm glad you got a little time for Glorious Applique stitching!!!
ReplyDeletegood for you to take some time for you, love the block and the background very different
