Kim's pattern, Stars and Sprigs is finally packaged. This blog is not a commercial site and I hesitate to even mention it but so many of you have been asking, I thought it appropriate to let you know.
Kim used gazillion scraps to make hers and we think it is the ultimate pattern for using tidbits so we wont be offering a fabric pack.
Woo Hoo!! The moment I have been waiting for!!
ReplyDeleteCrispy
I feel that it is definitely appropriate to ask as a lot of us have problems finding the patterns and I really appreciate the notification so as I can plan my next purchase. Of course I check Glorious Color all the time and didnt see the pattern yet,but hopefully soon.

ReplyDeleteMe too! I had already decided that was what I wanted to do next. It seems very ambitious, but I can't wait. Will be ordering shortly. What a great thing to come home to after being away for the weekend. Thanks, Liza!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It'll be a while before I can add this to the planned project list (like years!), but one day...
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, I'll be placing my order today.
ReplyDeleteI'll be next in line.
ReplyDeleteI ordered mine this morning, too. I hadn't thought about Houston - I can collect more fabric for it there, too!
ReplyDeleteI think Liza's having a busy day!!!
Busy???? Busy was so yesterday. I havent had time for my 4 PM chocolate and coffee!

Yay, Just ordered the pattern, thanks for letting us know.
ReplyDeleteLiza - thank you for the update!!! Since we're all Kim McLean enthusiasts...from ALL over the world, we truly appreciate the NEWS!!! ; ) And, what better place to share it?!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing all the S & S quilts here!
ReplyDeleteI made this quilt in 2000, I think ,and I used up a lot of the scraps that someone sent me. I believe they were left over scraps from the millenium quilts. Try and do a lot of cutting up as you go, especially for the borders. If you cut each shape four times, it will help cut out the boredom later . If you can, do the borders as you go along, it will be a big job if you do that x 4 towards the end!
Linda B, I'm not sure who has this pattern in Oz, try Material Obsession? Kathy has my quilt patterns there but not sure about the S & S.
If you have any question, please do a post here and I'll try and answer it. Thanks to everyone for purchasing this pattern and the previous ones, much appreciated!
Cheers, Kim McL
