My that was fast! I ordered my pattern yesterday and it came today. The pressure is on. I am thinking to maybe alternate working on Roseville and Stars and Sprigs, that way I am doing something different and won't feel overwhelmed. At least that is what I am telling myself!
Oh I love Stars and Sprigs. I'm always a little out of the loop, but I had not seen this one. The border (sprigs) are to die for.. I will be looking into this pattern.
ReplyDeleteI am eager to know the block size on Stars and Sprigs. Anybody?
ReplyDeleteFun fun! I plan to order one soon too (I've been trying to resist, without succeeding) Would someone please post the amount of background fabric needed so I can start shopping? (It's a good excuse to visit the fabric stores again!)
ReplyDeleteThe star and little applique blocks ar 8" finshed. It says you need 6 1/4 yds for the small applique blocks and borders. The background of the stars are scrappy, there are 41! Hope that helps.
ReplyDeletethis quilt is AWESOME
ReplyDeleteguess what my mother-in-law will be buying me for Christmas?? ;)
That is indeed express service! Kelly, you're going to have fun with this quilt. Might be a good idea if you can cut the pieces for the S & S when you'e cutting for the RA. This quilt is all scraps, there aren't any major decisions to be made with this one. Have a ball! Kim McL
