More Roseville Blocks
I finished my last Roseville block and have the center sewn together. I started the top panel and the 4 trees. Having so much fun and my sewing room looks like a bright bomb went off.
Simply stunning, Denise!! WOW! You have been a busy girl! I know exactly what you mean about that "bright bomb." Cannot wait to see your top! hugs, brenda
Thank you Leland I started my blocks in August. Set it aside a few days to finish my Pat Sloan BOM. Surprising how much fussing cutting there is in the quilt blocks.
Wow Denise! Your quilt is looking really fantabulous!!! Well done, the colours are amazing and everything goes so well together. I hope you're ecstatic with the result so far. Lovely to see the sewing room looking as if a bright bomb had gone off though. Keep up the good work Denise, its marvellous to see. Kim McL
Hi Dorothy, nice surprise. LOL, no I am not making a dent in my brights, in fact a friend gave me some of her brights to use. Shops here sell bright fabrics and the last shop I was I almost needed sunglasses. Glad to be using my brights. My Civil War Reproductions fabrics are close by though.
wow, those are truly amazing! I bet you are so proud of your babies. Question for you - did you use all the same fabric for the backgrounds on each block?
Thank you for all the lovely comments. Yes Kim I am ecstatic with all of my blocks and really having a great time appliqueing and fussy cutting my fabrics. I am using the same blue-grey marbled fabric for my background throughout my quilt.
What a treat to get so see all of your blocks/panel together! Your colors just glow against that background. I know what you mean about it looking like a fabric bomb has gone off. Every once in a while I have to refold and organise a bit. :)
So beautiful! I'm hoping Santa brings me the fabric pack for the Roseville Album, otherwise it will be into the year before I can justify the purchase after all the Christmas gifts for others.
WOW!!! Your blocks R-O-C-K, Denise!!! I LOVE how you pieced some of the applique fabrics. And, everything on that marbled grey background just has a glow. Well done!!! : )
Beautiful, beautiful. Don't worry about the sewing room, its not going anywhere, you probably know where everything is and if you put it away you would just want it again.
Beautiful, Denise. You are really clipping along. When did you begin? I love your fabrics--great background. I look forward to more.
