It seems like forever since i last posted or commented on the blog as to how glamorous your blocks and quilts are.
I am now upto block 7 but after putting the blocks together i had to unpick some of the shapes and do them in a different colour as they would clash or simply not gel and of course i haven't appliqued them down yet i was itching to complete this block.
So here is block 3
Sorry for the bad quality of the picture photography isn't my forte.
Anyway must fly may you all have a great and Happy New Year and looking forward to seeing all the beautiful Kim Mac quilts completed next year.

What fabric ranges are you using ? I don't think its easy to balance such busy prints but you did a great job !

ReplyDeleteLove all your fussy cutting, a great block!
ReplyDeletethat is a great block...may 2011 bring you joy
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheerful, pretty block Adele! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a joyful block Adele, I love the flowers fussy cut with that print.
ReplyDeleteI like your pink & red flowers (nice fussy cutting!) with the blues & greens of your leaves--they go together nicely. It is hard not to have the same colors end up next to each other, and yet still all get along isn't it? Hope to see your blocks together soon.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Adele! The block is wonderful. I love the combination of the darker colors in the flowers with the lighter container. May your wishes to see "completed" quilts help us all to make them happen. (I could use a few more hours in the day too if anyone can help with that!)
ReplyDeleteYour block looks great, good choices. Keep it going...
ReplyDeleteGREAT block, Adele! Good to 'see' you again. ; ) Your flower pot fabric is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
