My Second Block

I have had a rare day with nothing on my schedule or "to do" list for the day and got to finish this block. What fun, just get up, slip into comfy clothes, no make up, no hair curling, just sew. I am doing my blocks with blanket stitch applique, I had the block prepped and started a while back. I have enjoyed reading all of your posts and seeing every one's blocks.

    Fantastic, Cherie. That vase is brilliant. I have a lot of these fabrics but you have used them in such creative ways. I look forward to more.

    Hi Cheri,
    Great to see that someone else is not doing traditional applique. I don't use the blanketstitch, since I'm a cross stitcher I cross stitch around the edges! Love your fabrics, great job.

    Excellent fussy cutting, Cheri. It must take longer to blanket stitch than to needle turn, but the effect is so pleasing with your color palette.

    Cheri - sounds like the PERFECT day!!! ; ) Your block is lovely. I REALLY like your fussy cuts!!! And, is this hand or machine blanket stitched? I love the added something-something the blanket stitch brings to your block. NICE!
