I do like the green and yellow start twinkling in the top right corner in Australia's colours. Not deliberate, just a happy coincidence.
Thank you Kim for releasing your amazing patterns, this one was a pleasure from the begining.
You should be able to click on the photos for a bigger view. The top is 96" square and I think a bit big for hand quilting so I'll be basting this one up and machine quilting although I'm going to try and not make that too dense so as to keep some softness about it.
Happy cherry, joyous holidays to you all.
What can one say, Janet! You are exceptional and I really mean that - what joy YOU will have for many years and this quilt will spread joy to others 'forever'! I could go on and on but I will leave others a fair chance, too!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs - Lurline♥

ReplyDeleteJanet, your quilt is absolutely fantastic! I love the colors--the fabrics just twinkle together in a soft, inviting way. Did you have any "recipe" for choosing which fabrics you used (or didn't use), or how you arranged them? Have you decided on your backing fabric or binding? Your quilt has inspired me to want to make one too!
