Alas........ I am slow slow slow. I just finished the squirrel at the top of this panel.
I love the color choices that so many of you make. It's a learning process. (And it takes time.) Robin
I'm slow too, but this is a very unit-heavy block, so don't be too hard on yourself. It takes me forever too, but we just have to keep on stitching. The end results are so worth the time, aren't they?
Beautiful panel Robin! Love the fussy cutting you've done, it looks stunning. My fave is the pink bird on the left, she's a cutie. You're doing a great job with the the fabric choices. Kim McL
It's worth every stitch you take Robin. It's gorgeous and I don't think you have any trouble with fabric choices, spot on and I can see the time and effort you've put into it. Keep having fun.
It's fun to watch the panel grow and come to life. We all work at our own comfortable pace? Enjoy the journey. Your fabric choices/fussy cuts are wonderful!
Robin - your color choices and fabric selections shine and bring your panel to life! It's so FUN to watch everyone's projects grow. I too am slow. We've had many life changes since August. I am just happy to be able to take a few stitches now and then, and always feel pleased when I get to add a new shape. So...sew, do enjoy your journey and know there are others who may be slowly working alongside you, virtually. ; )
Love the squirrel, little tiger, lionish! Is that a word? Good job, no need to rush things, just enjoy the work without the stress!
ReplyDeleteYour color/fabric choices aren't too shabby either, Robin! The top squirrel looks like it just shook itself.
