Incredible fabric selections! Great attention to detail the way you incorporated the design of the fabric on the leaves. This is a great block and I love the black background.
More inspiration for fussy cutting! Every post brings yet another bit of inspiration for ways to use Kaffe's fabrics. I bet the wee blocks will go fast after doing the big ones. Enjoy it all.
Thanks for the encouragement. I am not sure why so many folks see the background as black. Must be my lousy photography. It is dark chocolate brown in Kaffe's Aboriginal Dots.
What a beautiful block! It just glows against the dark background. I love your fussy cuts. You really have a talent for getting just the right piece/placement. I'll bet it felt good to take those last stitches..and know you had the big blocks all done? :)
