Flower Garden quilt first block

  1. This is my first block done whew juat a beginner .Have used beach house as the background hope it will work ok.Any advice would be welcome .Know my needleturn shows hopefully I will improve

  5. I can't believe you're a beginner--this is lovely. Really nice background fabric. You are going to have so much fun!
    I recommend looking at the books and video done by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins of "Piece o' Cake" if you want more instructions. Their directions are very clear and well illustrated. And keep reading this blog-a constant stream of helpful tips.

  11. Thank you all for your nice comments.Yes using the background for the whole quilt.I have been a quilter for 6 years but have only just thought maybe even I could learn needleturn.Between Kim's beautiful patterns and Kaffe's divine fabrics what chance did I have lol
