  1. Oh, yeah! I liked the center flower when the two side tops got added, but with the midsection underneath those, it washed out, didn't it? Looks really terrific this way!

  2. I didn't mind the other flower but I can see why you did and it does look lovely.

  4. VERY pretty! I love the choices and fussy cuts on the other flowers too.
I've had a couple of blocks that were Ok..but just didn't feel right to me. I left them for a bit..then went and changed them. It seems like if we aren't comfortable with a fabric it's best to swap it out..or it will bother us?

  6. You are doing a sterling job - the new flower was definitely worth the extra work.

  7. I agree that this new center flower works better, but I do like the original one too. What is your other choice for the basket? I like this one, but am curious, of course, about a different one.

  8. well in my "life as a quilter" when I look at a block and say, "you know that piece just isn't working" I know I am going to change it, whether it is right then or later. I had a 4 Patch Posey quilt top together once, looked at the row in the middle, had 2 squares that I felt were very similar, took them out of the middle and rearranged the squares, that is how anel I am......thank you all for all your input
    I love it

  9. You did the right thing, change it if you are not happy with it! I like the result, that's for sure.
