May Flowers
It's been a rainy April here--thus lots of May flowers!
Really gorgeous Donna, love all the colours!! Stunning vase and the great fussy cutting of the flowers. Well done!! Are you doing the 2 quilts in tandem? I like that idea, the fabrics are all out on the cutting table anyway, so you might as well cut for both. We're having a lot of rain too here in Sydney, and cooler weather at last! Keep up the good work, Kim McL
Donna, What lovely blocks! I reallylike the fussy cut striped flower and the vase - both are wonderful uses of the fabric. And hurray to you for doing both quilts!
Thanks everyone for the kind words! I'm doing both quilts at once because I have no self control, and when I couldn't figure out the fabrics to use on the Roseville, choosing just a few fabrics for a single flower block seemed easier...the path of least resistance. Which means neither quilt will be finished for quite some time!
Very cool. I love the Roseville block - especially the flowers. And those other 2-part designs look just like strawberries. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThese blocks are just gorgeous! Can you really be doing both quilts at once? Kim is right; as long as you have all the fabrics out. . .

How did you get those inside curves looking soooooo nice?
ReplyDeleteBoth projects at once, that is wonderful. Love your fabric choices, I wish those flowers were blooming out in my front yard.
