After seeing some quilters in Denmark starting a blog about Kim McLean's quilts I decided to do the same, considering the fact that the glorious applique blog has reached it’s maximum number of members.
So with permission of Kim McLean herself, there is a new blog for Dutch quilters that are working on the glorious applique quilts.
I would love to welcome you on my blog as a contrubutor or as a guest poster, http://dutchgloriousapplique.blogspot.com/
(Kim McLean in Holland). The blog is in Dutch as well as in English.
Nicolette
Thanks so much Janet!
ReplyDeleteIs there enough interest to have a Kim McLean in Australia blog as well??
ReplyDeleteThank you Janet & thank you Nicolette! Have dropped in & left a message there!
ReplyDeletePip, I'd love to see one in OZ too, except I wouldn't know how to do it, I'm really internet illiterate, cheers, Kim McLean
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeleteit isn't too hard to get a blog going, mostly templates etc, once it's all set up then it is mainly over to the members of the blog who do all the posts and photos. I could do it, my email is:
restisnotidleness@gmail.com
Hi Pip! If you're up to it, I'd love to see the same sort of setup for us here, it would be wonderful to see everyone's quilt on the blog. Let us know if or when you've set it up, so that we can put the site on our " favorite" bar and read it with our morning tea! Cheers, Kim McL
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteYou're on :)
I've started setting up the blog, hopefully by the end of the weekend, I'll have it all working ok.
It will be called Kim McLean Down Under.
cheers, Pip
Fantastic Pip. I shall email you next week about joining the Oz site. Hope there are others here to make it worthwhile for you and the hard work of setting us up.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Pip! Look forward to it, love to see all these blocks and quilts, yum!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Pip for setting it up. Cheers, Kim McL

Thank you Pip, so how does one work this if one wants to post something? Do we have to email you first and you'll have to OK it? Kim McL
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteyes, just send me an email and I add it to the list and an invitation email automatically gets sent to you, you just click on the link and it takes you to the blog to activate it.
Pip
Hi Pip, I think I'm a bit daft, but I can't click on that link. When I copy the address into the Internet address at the top, it says that access is denied. I must be doing something crazy? Kim McL.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeletetry now, I had set one of the reader settings to invited only, should be right now, otherwise just send me and email: restisnotidleness@gmail.com and I will add you in.
Pip
Have sent you an email Pip, hope you've got it. K
