I'm Quilting Flower Pots

Here's my top; I started stitching last October and finished the top in early August. It needs a new name, I think. "Credit to Kim"? "Kim and Kaffe Production"? "Glorious Applique"? I treasured every minute I spent stitching, and reading Glorious Applique every day has been part of the fun. I'm hand-quilting, so don't look for a finished top any time soon. Fellow blogger Marion and I visited Quilt Expo in Pennsylvania last Friday and we both splurged at the booth from Alabama (Quiltmaker's Workshop) which had an extremely tempting array of Kaffe fabrics. Stars and Sprigs is next for me. Thanks for all the support this blog provides.

    Beautiful quilt Leland. That gorgeous background colour makes all the applique pieces sparkle. I can see why you would be having fun quilting it. xo

    Your quilt is absolutely delightful! I love the rich background. It draws the eye in for a closer look.

    Your quilt is just lovely, the background is so stunning, it definitely makes the fabrics pop. I really would love to work on that quilt next because I love the big pieces.

    Oops! It has taken me a full day to see your post, Lee. You must have done it while I was on the plane flying home from your house. I can attest to all fellow GA bloggers that the quilt is even more spectacular "in the flesh," and Lee's quilting is wonderful thus far. Lee was more restrained in her Kaffe purchases than I was, so I am spending an afternoon at the ironing board dreaming of ways to use all the new fabrics:-) Lee has me convinced to try a dark background on a future project. Hers is terrific.
