At last, Kim's Mariners Compass Medallion pattern is ready. It is a beauty. It will test your skills at applique, paper piecing, English paper piecing and more.
This one is such a departure from the other recent designs. Love the traditional and flower mix. Can't wait to see everyone's progress. So cool Kim!! --- Teresa at thirdfloorquilts.com
Thanks everyone, this is an older quilt that I made over a decade ago and it was sitting in a bag in the corner of my sewing room for at least 10 yrs before I got back to finish handquilting it. It was the last quilt I did in reproduction fabric. If you go to the GloriousColors website, and click on the Mariners Compass quilt, you'll see a fabulous version of it in Kaffe fabrics, I love this brighter version. I have been using the Kaffe fabrics to make hexagons for my current quilt and it has been so much fun demolishing a perfectly great piece of fabric and making holes all over it! K
Absolutely gorgeous!
