Hi! I am Judy from Oklahoma. I have also just been invited to join. ....Yeah!! I have been following the blogspot but it feels great to be an "official member". Now that means I need to get motivated and get going on my quilt. I plan to start with "Princess Feathers". Wish me luck!

Hi Everyone,
I just received an invitation to join Glorious Applique blogspot. Quite an honor I must say. Thank you Janet. I think I have looked at every pix and your appliques are amazing. I have the pattern and fabric so I just need to start. Only hope I can live up to your appliques.

READY TO QUILT
OK, this will be my last post of this quilt, but I would love some feedback before I finish. What ideas do you have about quilting this spring quilt? Also do you like the border of black with dots?
I have enjoyed this process and learning so much from you all. I am anxious to begin my next appliqued/pieced quilt. Thank you for sharing you creations with me, and inspiring me to expand what I know.
with gratitude,
Pete
I'm still here
Hi Ladies,
It's been a while since my last block, but I've got caught up with other project, just decided that I wanted to start a Dear Jane and that's taken up some time, LOL.
Anyway here's another blue version of our Roseville Quilt. Since I'm a symetrical person I decided to make this a more balanced block. The other corner block with the bird in the middle was made using almost all my fabric choices and turned out a little too wild for my taste. So this block was toned down. I like the balance and LOVE the blue background. On to the next block.
I just couldn't resist starting this Flower Garden anymore! Ordered the pattern last week (can you imagine I didn't order it the first day it came out????) , whipped up my first block over the weekend and prepped a few more blocks yesterday. Had a lot of fun choosing fabrics for the next few blocks. Yes mine will be done in reproduction fabrics just like my Roseville Album.
I am so ready for spring and it can't come fast enough for me this year.
Maybe doing a few more of these blocks will inspire me to get back to my Roseville Album blocks.
It was really nice to read the article about Kim in Quiltmania magazine.
hmmm yellow leaves or cheddar????

my own spin
I haven't posted in quite a while as I have slowly worked on another block and house panel which I chose to add my own spin to. I love Sunbonnet Sue and I wanted to see how she would fit in. I am very pleased so far. I really don't know how many blocks and panels I will do in total; I am truly taking it one at a time. So here are the ones I've finished with SS. I have added her to another block that I am currently working on and will show that as soon as it is finished.
