I am still working on it and have started sewing some blocks together, the middle top is all stitched. I am going to take it with me to Adelaide as I have 5 days there for the Australian Machine Quilting festival and I am hoping to get lots done at night while on my own.
cheers
Christine
Christine, Well done - almost there, I'm sure it will be finished after you've been to the festival! Kim McL
ReplyDeleteIt is looking great Christine. Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteShirley.
It's a good stage to be at when you get to sew blocks together. Great going!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, you are getting so close now. xo
ReplyDeleteI absolutely also want to make that quilt.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the festival, I hope you find some time to stitch,it looks like you're almost finished, please continue posting pictures. I can't wait to see the finished work.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect project to work on in the evenings, once you're back in your room? It won't take too much to get the quilt done? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of this pattern, every time you show it I am so drawn to it. It is fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteLove this quilt & you're making great progress Christine. Is there a pattern available for this design?
ReplyDeleteI would also love to get this pattern!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a joy to see and watch your journey, Christine!!! So few 'white' spaces remain. I can hardly wait...?! Enjoy your quiet time. ; )
ReplyDeleteGisele, the pattern is in Annette Gero's book " Fabric of Society ", you can get it from the Book Depository and they post free. It's a very heavy book and it cost a packet to ship from Australia. Annette sells it through her website, if you can Google it. I think Quilting Books Unlimited will have it too. Kim McL
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim for putting up this info.
ReplyDeleteChristine
It's beautiful Christine - I'm hoping that making this quilt is in my future. I'm enjoying watching yours come together so wonderfully.
