This blog is dedicated to applique. Glorious applique!!! The focus here will be hand applique, but there is room for machine applique too. Kim McLean is the designer whose patterns and quilts we will be working on together. Are you ready?! Let's SEW!!!
My - 'Two of my quilt's photo. Both these quilts are from Kaffe Fassett's Book Quilt Road. The one on the wall is called 'Postcard Quilt' and the other is called 'Crosses Quilt'. Before the Postcard Quilt I hadn't pieced any of these patterns before, I call it 'Postcards from Heaven' after my mum. This quilt kept me busy at a time when I needed it most.
Wow! Absolutely beautiful! I need to get back to my Hearts and Flowers....but the holidays make keep me from it. My mom too is occupying a lot of time.
Barb, the Medallion quilt is just stunning! Glad you shared what pattern it is. So beautiful and so many pieces but well worth your effort for the effect. Thanks for sharing!
Love the quilts, I have the book and keep dreaming! I love what you said about your mom, I still have my mom and cherish the time we have together! I realize too that someday my greatest cheerleader will be silent!
Beautiful accent to the beige furniture, I have all beige too and need to get a little color:)
Yay Barb Rose, stunning quilts and I had to click on the photo to appreciate just how lovely they are closer up. Your colours are wonderful.
