Centre panel

I thought you might like to see the central panel of the Roseville quilt that I have been working on for some time.
I am using the glue and machine applique method which I love - it takes a long time to do all the prep but tends to be really accurate in the end. Even all the little bits in the bottom right corner were made this way. Some of the small circles are also hand appliqued.  Most of the fabrics are Kaffe Fassett but I have added a few batiks and others from my stash.  I am using a washable fusible backing as the templates which will wash out completely at the end of the project.

  13. Beautiful centre panel Louisa! Gorgeous fussy cutting, and your colour choice. It's amazing that we're using the Kaffe fabrics and yet they all turned out different. Well done, love to see the other panels soon, Kim McL
