I thought you might enjoy seeing Lollipop Tree done in these soft woodland colors.
This won best fabric selection at the Springville Quilt Show (Springville Utah) recently. It is made by Chris Coffin Manning.
Such a different look! It's such a good example of how the fabrics used can really change the look of a pattern. This one has a more "masculine" feel to me.
it is really beautiful, I love the colors, Totally the opposite colorway of what I chose. It just goes to show that we could find beauty no matter what colors or fabrics we choose.
It's such a treat to see the Lollipops in this colour scheme, it's really beautiful. Chris was very clever by her use of the accent colours. Thanks Robin.
Thank you Robin for posting the photo. Well done Chris for making such a gorgeous quilt in that colouring. Love it! Lovely to see it in a different light. Kim McL
Lovely to see a different colour selection. It shows that a great pattern can be made with several fabrics!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Fun to see a different and softer color palette--nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this photo, Robin. This subdued and very controlled color palette is admirable and so lovely.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! It certainly gives you ideas as to what can be done!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely and restful to look at, it seems quite a different quilt from the bright Lollipop Tree quilts we usually see.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Beautiful and great to see in a different colorway. I love them all.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Chris. A great new look--it feels like a whole new quilt and a very appealing one at that.
ReplyDeleteOh my, how inspiring! I would never have thought to use mostly greens but I love it! Beautiful quilting also! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteVery lovely! I really like it.
ReplyDeleteIs that the quilt show that is held in the Springville Museum? I went to one there maybe 12 years ago and remember that the quilts were wonderful.
