I just finished the bottom panels in Roseville Album.
It was sometimes a struggle to get it finished.
And some of the times, I drag myself to the sewing.
I dont know why it was so, but now Im just happy it is finished.
Maybe I should take a little break from Kaffe Fabric,
and then hopefully the joy of appliqueing will return.

is this all hand appliqued? It is a lovely panel. Great job.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t show you had a hard time to make the panel, it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it will help to step back for a while and make something easy!
Your panel is beautiful! I can't just do hand applique all the time. I enjoy so many different kinds of quilting so that variety keeps it more interesting to me!
ReplyDeleteSimply dazzling! Worth every pricked finger and weary moment while you stitched. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour panel looks fabulous! Love all your fabric choices. Since you just finished the hardest panel with those trees, in my opinion, start on one of the easier blocks if you don't have them done. If you take the time to cut out several blocks or another panel it will be easy for you to pick it up and work on it. I do my machine sewing during the day or early afternoon and late evening I do my applique. Keep at it....
ReplyDeleteStunning work!!! I love your fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteI always swap between projects to keep my interest going.
Love the button pig and those chooks!
ReplyDeleteadorable, love the happy fabric animals!!!
ReplyDeletethat cow is just too fun! congrats on a great finish

It's fabulous, the animals are so much fun to look at. I hope you get back to it before too long.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Camilla! I think you might have done too much appliqué lately! May be do something else for a break?
ReplyDeleteLove all the animals! Kim mcl
Your panel is absolutely beautiful! You've made wonderful fabric choices. It's a treat to make the pic bigger to really enjoy each element. Well done! I think this is one of the harder panels..the rest should be a breeze? :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love it.
ReplyDeleteCamilla, your fabric choices are SO fun! Your work is lovely and the panel is just beautiful. Great job getting it done. : )
ReplyDeleteHi! I love it! Congratulations! I like the colours! It's so nice to find other quilters from other counties!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I knew how to hand applique!! The projects on this blog are gorgeous. :0)
ReplyDeleteI am having a little give a way.
Would you like to drop by?
Sincerely. Trish
Beautiful! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking lovely. Taking a break can help prevent the project feeling like work. It's nice to come back fresh and inspired again.
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing work Camilla, I love that button pink pig esp. xo
ReplyDeleteLove your goat! I am prepping this panel right now and also have a pink button pig! I think these panels are just so big they take longer than it seems they should. But oh so nice to have it all stitched so pretty!
