Because you dont have enough to sew
Check back later today at GloriousColor.com to see the Flower Garden pattern ready to go!
LOL. You're right, Liza. I'm hoping I live long enough to finish my Stars and Sprigs so even the thought of the "next" one escapes me at the moment. But I definitely like knowing it's out there for me when and if the time comes! Thanks.
Thank you everyone, I'd love to see you start on this quilt. I did have fun making it and it was quite fast because of the big pieces. I haven't started on the next project yet, so this quilt is going to be it for a while. This might give everyone some breathing space to finish up previous projects. I just bought a scarf knitting kit designed by Kaffe, it's called " Foolish Virgins", it is really cool but I think it is not going to be an easy project. Still, it will be fun trying it out. I'm probably feeling the same way when you buy the quilt kits from Liza! Apparently this was available as a sweater before. Have fun with the quilt & fabrics! Cheers, Kim McL
Well I just had to look up the Foolish Virgins pattern. Whoa! I guess we won't be seeing any quilting for a while from you Kim? LOL I wouldn't try knitting it, but it would be fun to use the chart as a pattern for squares of fabrics to make a quilt. :) Have fun!
Kim - nothing to do with Roseville - which I am working on; but many years ago I knitted Kaffe's Foolish Virgins jacket - still have it but it doesn't get worn much any more. It was a labour of love but always received many comments Jenny
Jennifer, if I've knitted the Foolish Virgin jacket, I'd keep it to, it can an heirloom piece. It looks quite a job to do. There is a pattern for it online at the Rowan yarn website but the colours used are out of circulation now. Also found a website called Rare Rowan where you can buy knitting kits from a while back.
