My first 6 blocks! There is one flower that I might change and I forgot to add a stem in one of the blocks. I'm not going to sew the rows together until I get the other 3 blocks done as it is easier to make changes in a small piece rather than the large unit. Most of the day I have been cutting out the next 3 blocks. Yes, I can't quit on this and yes, I have stopped working on the Civil War Bride and Hugs & Kisses (The Quilt Show BOM) quilts. I won't get too much done this week as I will be at the AQS Des Moines show for all 4 days. Will any other Glorious Applique bloggers be there? This blog is dedicated to applique. Glorious applique!!! The focus here will be hand applique, but there is room for machine applique too. Kim McLean is the designer whose patterns and quilts we will be working on together. Are you ready?! Let's SEW!!!

Your blocks look wonderful..and it's a treat to see them all together.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sewing mine together yet either. I might still want to add something here and there?
Have fun at the show! :)
They look fabulous Julee, such gorgeous colour. I find Kim's patterns are rather addictive! Have a great time at the show, alas, living in Australia I will not be there!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look really nice together. Take lots of applique pictures for us at the quilt show!
ReplyDeletethank you for posting a picture of all your blocks together, your fabric choices are very beautiful as well as your background fabric. I have a feeling after I finish my lollipops, I will be doing the Roseville pattern, every time I see some more blocks I am more inspired.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous together - 9 blocks plus border would make a lovely wall-hanging quilt!
ReplyDeleteHugs - Lurline♥
I think there may be more fabs in your stash after the AQS show. Enjoy.
ReplyDeletejulee, your blocks look absolutely divine together! Not far to go now with the central blocks. I hope you will continue on though, your colour sense is spot on. Cheers, Kim McL
