wool applique

These two glorious wool applique cushions were a gift from two dear friends. The appliques are wool, the background is linen, the borders are cotton patchwork.

  8. OMG!! I just love them cushions!!

Got my new sofas yesterday and I think I need some cushions. It's suede beige and bare. ( where was my brain when I ordered this difficult fabric )

Where would one purchase the woolen fabric though?

Lucky you Liza - love them, Kim McL

She was at Houston and had the most gorgeous stuff.

  11. What a wonderful gift! I love the wool..is that polka dot wool?!
Early on, the squirrel panel done in wool was posted on this blog. I loved the idea of using wool..and isolating just a section for a finished piece.

  12. The polka dots are tiny applique dots on the pig. The whole thing is buttonhole stitched raw edge applique. One of them was done by the same person who did the squirrel panel in wool that I posted some months ago.
    I just LOVE these cushions.
