My first Roseville Album block finished
I decided to change the vase completely. Thank you for all the suggestions made on my blog. I went with the red fabric, which was the most popular choice. For the reverse applique I used Plink. (Thank you for your suggestion, Kim)
I am in the process of choosing fabrics for my next 2 blocks. I love working with these fabrics!

Looks wonderful, Miriam. That red vase seems to ground the block very well. Thanks for posting so we could see what you chose.
ReplyDeleteVERY nice block Miriam! Changing the vase fabric gave the block a completely different look.
ReplyDeleteI spend a lot of time trying to choose just the right fabric, and in some cases I need to go back and switch one or two.
Isn't it amazing that Kim chooses the fabrics for everything in one go?
Looks great Miriam, love the red and pink combo for the vase, love your other colour choices too. Looks like you're having fun, which is the main thing. Love to see more! Kim McL
ReplyDeleteYour block looks wonderful, it is so much fun to pick out fabrics. I hope you continue to have as much fun as I had.
ReplyDeleteThe vase looks beautiful - as does the rest of the block!
