Where to start?
I've found a background fabric and I'm ready to get started. I want to try Liza's front basting method and I want to start with an easy block. I'm going to be doing Kim's Roseville Album; which block would be the best one? Mind you, I'm kinda chicken here. ;)

Liza on internet radio!
Just wanted to mention that Liza is one of Mark Lipinski's guests on his live Creative Mojo internet radio show tomorrow. Listening is free on www.toginet.com and his show is on every Wednesday 3-5 EST and you can also call in with comments or questions! If you are unfamiliar with him, Mark always keeps things lively.

My prize for posting!
I made it to the Post Office before they closed yesterday but did not have a chance to take any pictures.
Here they are-12 luscious "true" quarters from Glorious Color, Liza, Kathy and Pam. I know these will look great in my Roseville Album. Now to save to buy the background.
Before I forget-I read Liza's post on front basting and it looks like it may work for me. Back basting is a great method but we just didn't click.

I won!!
OMG!! I'm on vacation and finally got online and what do I see? My name in big letters. Thanks to Liza, Kim and Kathy for providing the gift and to Pam for pulling my name.
I'll post pics when my gift gets here. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza XVII
Yesterday I went to the quilt show and met Liza Lucy. She graciously let me take my picture with her. If you are anywhere close to being able to get there you must go!
The Glorious Color booth was a riot of color. I overheard one woman say "looking at all these colors just makes me feel good".
I bought even more fabric here for my Roseville Quilt and I bought some solids that I may piece a quilt with in the near future.
