It is an absolutely wonderful place to be. Wishing you all and your families a wonderful holiday

Roseville left side panel
I didn't know how to post a cropped pic to this blog, so please excuse the visual clutter?
I've finally finished the left side panel of my Roseville Album. Well, all except for the trimming, and I think I might add an additional berry or two?
They're such a fun and easy way to add a bit more color here and there? It seems like I never want to stop?
With holiday shopping and running errands, my panel did a lot of sitting. It felt good to pick up a needle and thread last night and take a few stitches!
I guess the other side panel will be next?

Here is my second block

Sorry for the long delay but i have had a shocking cold and just getting over it now. Can't say i really like this block i noticed a did a mistake in this block the cactus thing in the middle should be a different shape too the rest but it will do.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day to take pictures of the next 3 blocks but it is really overcast i am so over the rain it has rained here for the last 2 weeks non stop would really love to see some sunshine.
I just wish you can see the real colour of the background fabric it is a pinky lavendar colour is is really divine.
Enjoying all your work ladies.
Till next time.

Barb Rose
Hello,
My first ever Blog - not to sure what to do?
I noticed there are a few Barbara's so I've chosen
Barb Rose (Rose being my favorite flower).
I look forward to sending some photo's of my quilts
(when I know how) and being part of this blog.
Bye for now!

Stars and Sprigs
These are the new additions to my Stars and Sprigs quilt. I made a few more appliqué blocks and made 3 stars to see how it goes. I did cut fabric for more stars; but have not finished the sewing. I will not trim the blocks until it is time to sew them together. The 2 blocks below are blocks 11 and 12. Block 11 was done over the Atlantic Ocean going east and 12 coming back west bound. They were in my carry on baggage; but the airline asked me to check my bag. So I did. The bag was lost; but I got it delivered 24 hours later in the middle of the night. I was so worried that I would not see them again. Never mind the new shoes and hat in the same bag. ;-)
