Hey every one!

I finally finished block 6 of the Lollipops.
I already prepped the next 3 blocks , sorry, no photo, and i did what Kim suggested , that is, incorporate some pink. And how right she was!!
It was exactly what the blocks needed, so i am very pleased.

I will show some photo's with the pink next time.

I finally definitly(i think) decided that i will only be making 9 blocks instead of 16. That's way to big. I had some other reasons too, but somehow i forgot what they were. I just remember the decision. Does that happen to you too?

Happy sewing,
Françoise

  1. I love the background fabric, it makes your other fabrics just pop. Glad that you not only showed the single picture but the picture of all six blocks together. I made my background blocks a little bit bigger and I think my lollipop quilt is going to finish approximately 120 in.². I love huge quilts.

  2. So pretty! Just 3 more blocks to go. Will you keep the borders the same as the original? It's such fun watching your progress! :)

  3. Until I saw your blocks, I would never have thought of doing a red background. They're just wonderful, Francoise. Like Ann, I want to know how you're thinking of doing the borders. Can't wait to see it all together.

  4. Your blocks look great! That red is gorgeous--I'm looking forward to seeing the pink on them and how it adds.
