I'm back on track

Another four down and that leaves one left and then I can play with the borders, excitement! I did have a little break from these but now I'm ready to play again.
These two are the weird ones, only a mother could love them, since I made them, that would be me.
I'm waving out to the sixteen new members of this blog, welcome to you all. More collective inspiration coming up  to keep us inspired and stitching I hope.

  1. I really like the way you fussy cut the designs. I need to remember to do that more often. Glad to see you are back in the groove!

  2. You are inspiring me to get back to mine. I'm doing them on the dots too - black with white dots - such fun. Love yours. I've been distracted with my Dear Jane Loves Kaffe but no reason to not work both simultaneously!

  5. wow - these are gorgeous!! What's wrong with the "weird" ones? The one on the right is downright pretty, and the one on the left has a fun face peeking out. :D

  6. What fun blocks! Maybe it's the Mother in me, but I love them all...especially the one I call the "Monkey flower" on the lower right. It doesn't matter what fabrics are used, it's always my favorite! ;)
Those borders look like a lot of fun, and you're almost there!

  7. Glad you are back working on your blocks. They are fun and beautiful Janet. I vote for "whimsical" or "quirky" as opposed to weird.
