Roseville Album progress

Since I last posted here I have completed two more blocks.

Here are all the blocks I have completed so far.

I am looking forward to starting the next block.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope 2012 brings good health, joy, peace, prosperity and plenty of stitching time!

  5. I have been following this blog for a little while and would love to make one of these blocks, but how do I do it? I am a novice and have never done appliqué. Is there any blog, site where I can be directed to get some tips on how to start? I just love the colours and the flowers and the fussy cutting and you name it! Greatful for any tip

  9. Thank you everyone for your great comments.

I love playing with all these wonderfully, bright and colourful fabrics. Lots of fun with fussy cutting from those large prints. Kim's pattern has just the right amount of large and small pieces, a few fun challenges with curved edges and lots of opportunities for fussy cutting. I love choosing the fabrics for each piece in the blocks.

  10. I am particularly fond of the basket on the top, too!
I guess it is the darker color that makes it stand out.
    Very nice work!
Thanks for your comments on my blog. (The orchid will permanently stay at my friend, Patti's.)
