This blog is dedicated to applique. Glorious applique!!! The focus here will be hand applique, but there is room for machine applique too. Kim McLean is the designer whose patterns and quilts we will be working on together. Are you ready?! Let's SEW!!!
I have just discovered your blog and am loving all the delicious applique! Just got the "Pandemonium" pattern and have a question. What are people using for background fabrics? Are you using the same fabric in all the applique blocks or making it scrappy? I am thinking of using Kaffe Fassett's Spot fabric in chalk, but not having an actual sample to look at am wondering if it is a good choice. I will probably have to mail order the background fabric. Your thoughts?
