Your blocks look fantastic... which quilt is this and where do we get the pattern from ?
ReplyDeleteNice start Taryn, I really like your fabric choices. This quilt calls out to me, a little piecing, a little applique...
ReplyDeleteHave fun with it,
Cheri
Beautiful, your applique is lovely !! LOVE your fabric selections too.
ReplyDeleteYou are jusy making this too tempting!
You are obviously having a lot of fun with both your sprigs and stars! They look great. Your fabric choices are going to make your quilt look so wonderful, Taryn.
ReplyDeleteI love the look you are achieving. I can see you have a great fabric stash. Your work is extraordinarily precise too.
ReplyDeleteLove your backing fabric. Very soft.
ReplyDeleteFun to see your fabric choices...I'm starting this pattern in November (after our show in October...)
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks Taryn! You’ve inspired me to make a Stars and Sprigs quilt. But first I need to finish my Lollypop quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love your sprigs, Where do I find that? pattern

I love your blocks. I am enjoying making mine; and mostly I am enjoying seeing all the other Star and Sprigs here. The stars are great, and your applique very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks! It's a treat to see the pattern done in sort of fabrics that might have been used in the original quilt that inspired this pattern.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look beautiful! Great stars and the Sprigs are neat!
ReplyDeleteWell done Taryn, they are great! Goes fast, doesn't it? Kim McL
ReplyDeleteoooooh....this is beautiful and proves that a good pattern will work with any fabric and be stunning. Sometimes the pattern makes the quilt. Sometimes it's the fabric. I think Kim has the ability to design patterns that let both be the stars!
ReplyDeleteyour blocks are wonderful, I really like the blocks made with the reproduction fabrics. It's so wonderful to have this list to share the different fabrics And the ways we are doing things.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty, such nice fabric choices--especially against your lovely background!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see a Stars & Sprigs post! I too am working on this one, and I love seeing your work. Great job :)
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for your nice words and encouragement on the Stars and Sprigs quilt. I am going to set myself an ambitious deadline to finish it by April next year. I am making the appointment with the machine quilter for then so I can get it back in time for my guild show.
