Star and Sprigs blocks and border


Four new blocks completed; and the same blocks with border number 2 half done and half ready to be appliqued. These blocks are very special to me. They were made with scraps given to me by friends. The beauty of applique is that you can use small pieces of fabric leftover from friends lovely quilts.

    These are gorgeous. I had to look twice at the bottom picture it looks like you are making an applique jacket the way the blocks are laid out

    The blocks are wonderful, and it makes even more wonderful to have fabrics from your friends in them. Sometimes we forget what we can do with the little scrap of fabric.

    How nice of your friends to give you their scraps. You will think of them when you look at your blocks. Your friends will take more interest in the quilt seeing their fabric in your quilt....keep at it....
