and I am still working away at the Roseville Album. Some months ago I finished the 4th corner block,
and began working on the right side panel. For some reason it went faster than the squirrel "panel," and it was great fun to work on.
Now I have begun the nine blocks for the center section. They go together much faster than the large panels, of course, so perhaps it won't be yet another year before I have a finish! Meanwhile I am loving all the inspiration from fellow GA bloggers around the globe and hoping I live long enough to make more Kim McLean quilts. I am quite spoiled for any other designs.
This is beautiful. I need to do one more lollypop and get back into the swing of things....I just love these patterns!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Great fabric choices and love the accent of teal. Just keep at it you will get it done. In order to get mine done I stopped all other projects and worked many hours a day to get finished.

Your panel and corner block are beautiful! The block with the cactus plants was the fussiest of the center blocks I think? Yours is gorgeous. The others should go quick and easy! ReplyDeleteFabulous! You surprised me. They look tremendous--all my favorite fabrics. The teal on the spiky one makes all the difference, doesn't it? The birds are spectacular; I'm so pleased I was able to see them in person in June. And the quiet little bird's nest is the perfect touch. You're right; nobody can compete with Kim's designs. Must order Stars and Sprigs...
