This blog is dedicated to applique. Glorious applique!!! The focus here will be hand applique, but there is room for machine applique too. Kim McLean is the designer whose patterns and quilts we will be working on together. Are you ready?! Let's SEW!!!
I love these! When I first saw your background I wondered, "How's that going to work?" I have my answer: brilliantly. Very very striking and delightful. The Keiko Gore fabrics are terrific and I can't wait to see more.
Are the fabric manufacturers pounding on your door imploring you to become their poster girl for their new fabrics? Your blocks are so spirited and inventive. I will love following your posts!
Those fun flowers on the pieced backgrounds are brilliant! I love the effect and I know your quilt will get better and better with each new addition. There's one flower that I think of as "monkey Flower". I'm excited to see your version of that one. I KNOW it's going to be fun!
Beautifully done, Cathy! I was just browsing at the Keiko fabrics on Glorious Colour... You are quite an artist. : ) Thank you for sharing your eye and talent with us!!!
