OH MY GOODNESS that is my kind of chocolate (well any kind is really but this is really special) What a work of art. I really admire anyone who can do that amount of needle turn. Beautiful!!!
Thanks everyone. Stacey, I honestly don't know when I started. Sometimes I worked in for days on end and sometimes I didn't work on it for months. I enjoyed making every stitch, every glorious fabric choice. I am going to miss working on this project. Can't decide what's next.
Absolutely spectacular! I really like that you chose a dark background for your quilt. It is very dynamic and makes the quilt really great. Congratulations!
The dark chocolate background changes the look of the quilt. I really like the effect. Now I am curious about other deep colors for backgrounds. Any thoughts? And by the Way Liza, you indpire me. - Pete
Hi Pete, I have one friend doing the Lollys with a dull bronze background and another doing it with a deep red. I havent seen a bad version of Lollys yet. I am going to try to load a hi res version of my quilt for those of you who want to see how obsessive I was in selecting near mirror images.
Wow, it’s gorgeous! You have just convinced me to make all the 16 blocks!
ReplyDeleteIt is really, really wonderfull!!!
