Finaly some progress

I just finished the bottom panels in Roseville Album.

It was sometimes a struggle to get it finished.
And some of the times, I drag myself to the sewing.
I dont know why it was so, but now Im just happy it is finished.

Maybe I should take a little break from Kaffe Fabric,
and then hopefully the joy of appliqueing will return.

  2. It doesn’t show you had a hard time to make the panel, it looks wonderful!

Maybe it will help to step back for a while and make something easy!

  3. Your panel is beautiful! I can't just do hand applique all the time. I enjoy so many different kinds of quilting so that variety keeps it more interesting to me!

  4. Simply dazzling! Worth every pricked finger and weary moment while you stitched. Beautiful!

  5. Your panel looks fabulous! Love all your fabric choices. Since you just finished the hardest panel with those trees, in my opinion, start on one of the easier blocks if you don't have them done. If you take the time to cut out several blocks or another panel it will be easy for you to pick it up and work on it. I do my machine sewing during the day or early afternoon and late evening I do my applique. Keep at it....

  11. Your panel is absolutely beautiful! You've made wonderful fabric choices. It's a treat to make the pic bigger to really enjoy each element. Well done! I think this is one of the harder panels..the rest should be a breeze? :)

  16. It's looking lovely. Taking a break can help prevent the project feeling like work. It's nice to come back fresh and inspired again.

  18. Love your goat! I am prepping this panel right now and also have a pink button pig! I think these panels are just so big they take longer than it seems they should. But oh so nice to have it all stitched so pretty!
