I get by with a

little help from my friends.  Dear Glorious Applique blog authors, members, followers, family, friends, visitors, lurkers, etc...  I am pleased to announce that Janet, from quiltsallot blog fame, has willingly accept my offer and is going to lend me a hand.  Can I tell you just how thankful I am?!?!?!  And, I know you will be too!  ; )

My personal life is running on a new (and hectic!) course.  I can not give the necessary time to my own sewing endeavors, let alone this amazing blog. So...sew, my friend and stitching sister, Janet, will join me as a GA blog administrator.  Kim and Liza are on board with this change too.  I hope you all will join me in welcoming Janet aboard!!!

I do not know how or if adding a blog administrator will affect the Glorious Applique blog.  I do know you all have been very kind and patient with me as I sometimes have floundered about or been slow to respond.  Your continued support, kindness and creativity is very truly appreciated.

WELCOME, Janet, and a most sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU!!!
: )
Piecefully, Pam

  1. Pam sometimes real life just gets in the way of our sewing life! We will be happy to have Janet guide us as we sew away. I love her blog and am sure she will do as great a job as you have. Good luck on your new job and be sure to stop in and comment as you have time. I know you will settle in and be sewing again in no time!

  3. You've done a marvelous job Pam, and that continues in choosing Janet to help you. This blog has so enriched my life that I hope you will find time for sewing so it can continue to be a part of your life too. Thanks for ALL your hard work, and hope things go so smoothly for you that quilting can slide right in! And Janet, please let us know if/how we can help make things easier for you too, because we enjoy seeing your beautiful stitching too, and don't want you to be too busy to stitch!

  6. Pam, I can't thank you enough for starting this blog! I'm having such fun looking at everyone's blocks, it has been amazing. I'm hoping everyone will keep posting and suggest ways of doing applique and other related things ( and non related fun things)
Thank you Janet for stepping in, you're a marvel! I don't know how you find the time to do all the stuff you do. I know this because I read your blog!
From everyone's comments, we're all benefiting from the tips & general discussions. Just love it!! Kim McL

  7. Thank you, Janet, for stepping in to keep this blog going. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we'd be lost without it now. Pam, your gift to us will go on giving for as long as it takes us to finish our quilts, and, as we know now, Kim just keeps coming up with more designs, so I hope you will find more time now to make progress on your own quilts. Your genius in launching this blog has brought so much pleasure to us all. THANK YOU SEW MUCH!

  8. Thank you for all you've done in getting this blog set up and running. It was a great idea and it must make you feel good that it's been so well received?
Janet will make a wonderful admin. I follow her blog and she is very tallented at everything she puts her hand to.
I hope your schedule settles down and you get more time for doing the fun things you like to do!

Janet..I'm happy to see you'll be stepping in and lightening Pam's load. Did she tell you that all new admins have to send fat quarters to all of the members? :) ROFLOL!
