This blog is dedicated to applique. Glorious applique!!! The focus here will be hand applique, but there is room for machine applique too. Kim McLean is the designer whose patterns and quilts we will be working on together. Are you ready?! Let's SEW!!!
Gorgeous wee blocks Liza!! This must be what you're doing with the snow outside. Love the " barber poles" you have as stems and the flowers. They are going to go so well with the big blocks. Almost done Liza ... Gorgeous! Funny thing is I do like looking at snow falling down, a rare thing in Australian cities. Our winter only gets to 9 degrees centigrade at night in the dead of winter( like 2 nights)
We have been thinking of going to the US instead of heading to Europe as we usually do, my husband is a golf tragic and loves playing in the US. May be I can meet you quilters and see your work instead of being at the spa!! Cheers, Kim McL
Makes me SMILE, Liza!!! I LOVE your use of stripe-y fabrics and fussy cut circles. : ) The colors are eye popping on that dark background. Your quilt is going to be a stunner!!!
Quilting Friends in the US is MUCH better than any European Spa, Kim! ; ) We'd be ThRiLlEd to have you visit!!! Pack your bags...!?!?!?
oh I LOVE them WEE blocks!
ReplyDeleteThey may be wee, but they certainly have impact! What great fabric usage!
