The quilt top is now too big to get a full pic. There are more pics on my blog, so hopefully you can get an idea of how it fits in?
This blog is dedicated to applique. Glorious applique!!! The focus here will be hand applique, but there is room for machine applique too. Kim McLean is the designer whose patterns and quilts we will be working on together. Are you ready?! Let's SEW!!!

Roseville bottom corner block
I've gotten the bottom right corner block finished. As you can see, I edited out some of the dots and moved around the ones I kept.
I'm still not sure about the bottom right leaf, but wanted to repeat the fabrics I used in the center blocks and side panels.

Your block looks great! I love your center--it is just gorgeous, especially with the green ring and leaves--really lovely together!
ReplyDeleteAnn it looks great, I really like the background you picked. Your colors are so fresh and lovely.
ReplyDeleteStunning. Centre flower is fantastic use of fabric.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful Ann, I love those birds, I guess you'll be planning the quilting now.

Really gorgeous Ann, all the colours work beautifully! Well done Ann, you're almost at the end of this quilt and in record time too. Are you going to handquilt it? Kim McL
ReplyDeleteThose red bird wings are the perfect accent to all the greens in this block--a very pleasing color study. I am following your blocks with particular interest because your colors are somewhat similar to mine. I am just finishing this block myself but still stitching circles!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind words!
ReplyDeleteKim..I do plan on hand quilting this one. I'm not sure what I'll do exactly, but I have a while to think about it yet. ;)
Love your block. Looked at your blog site and the whole quilt looks gorgeous. I may post later this week my corner block and partial outer border. We are both on the home stretch! So keep going...
ReplyDeleteAnn, your blocks are always so stunning, I like the bottom right leaf and I really love your center flower. Your blocks just sing spring
ReplyDeleteAll my favorite fabrics. What's not to love? Keep going Ann--we all love your work. Your blog is lots of fun!
