Second Block

Is finished. I seem to be going for the four corner blocks first, then perhaps I will tackle a larger one, maybe the house or the horse block.
Had a lot of fun with this one, the centre fabric is my favourite I think.

  1. Another wow block Cathy! The center fabric looks fabulous. Using the brights isn't for everyone but I love them and they're lots of fun.

  2. This is looking lovely. It sits so well with the background. I'm quite happy with my dark fabrics but like to look and admire what other people do with brights.

  3. Great block. That background is a wonderful compliment to the applique.

  5. Looking wonderful! I like your stem fabric too. That's my stumbling point with starting the project. I can't decide which to use.

  10. Cathy, looks amazing the 2nd block. I like the background with the colours on it! Its working out really well. Love the centre, is that an Amy Butler? What block are you doing next?
I'm on another computer, my other one has used up all the gigabyte allowance for the month and couldn't look into blogs or anything else on the internet. This computer is also slow, but at least I get to see what everyone is doing with their applique! Cheers, Kim McL

  11. Thank you Kim, I'm glad you could find another computer!! The centre fabric is from an oldie...Anna Maria Horners Garden Party range, it is called Guest of Honour. I think it lives up to its name! Cathy
