Maiden Run

Since a number of you are posting about Lollipops, it is giving me the courage to post for the first time. Although I have been drooling over Kim's designs for several years, this block was the first of her designs I actually made. The impetus was a silent auction for our biennial guild show, and I am happy to say it received a large number of bids! I had so much fun making it that I took the plunge and ordered Roseville. More about that in weeks to come.

(Marion and I are close friends who live 800 miles apart. We read this blog and send emails to each other with comments every day. And spur each other on to post and to sew. I'll post my Hearts quilt soon.)
