I'm In

So, I came across this Blog and it inspired me to begin for the first time, a needle turn applique project. Kaffe, Brandon, Kim an Liza have been inspirational for me, so the seed of this project were planted years ago, but the sprouting just happened as this blog came into being, and I have all of you to learn from and collaborate with as I venture into the unknown.

I was intimidated by the magnitude of a large project, so I decided to apply Kim's style and Kaffes fabrics into Jane sassaman pattern. Although just beginning, I am learning as each leaf is appliqued using a variety of techniques learned from all of you. I am challenged in my selection for each motif, but it is coming easier. Andf for those out there waiting to jump in, I say, Jump.

with gratitude,

Pete

  1. Hi! Glad you joined us, and, believe me, these fabrics are challenging for me, too. I love them, but find it difficult to make decisions.....not a problem I usually have. I hope you get all the help you may need. Michele
